Dave Glover Show Helps ICAA Mind the Gap in Education

We are pleased to announce that Saturday, August 18th from 10 AM to 12 Noon, we will be joined by Dave Glover and others at Dierbergs Deer Creek location in Dardenne Prairie, MO.  Please bring donations of school supplies and hang out with us for a great cause and fun surprises. The ICAA goal this year is to fully supply and support at least TWO area schools. Possible schools include public and private schools in the St. Charles county area.  If we have a great success, we will be able to also supply schools throughout our state and metro area who remain on a waiting list.  The ICAA Mind the Gap initiative is our project dedicated to education, to help ensure schools are accessible and appropriate for all students, regardless of need, or disability. Through our annual school supply drive, we hope to relieve teachers of their out of pocket expenses, help schools “mind the gap” so that all students can be served, and spend more time in classrooms with their peers by providing special need, and basic school supplies. ICAA’s Mind the Gap in Education initiative also provides supports and services to schools throughout the year with our annual autism awareness card campaign, educator appreciation awards, providing IEP help, consultations, special services, and educational materials.  Please see the donation bin locations to drop off school supplies now through August 25th, and see the teachers’ wishlists for information on what to donate.  Thank you for being such an awesome community of generous and caring spirits! Extra special thanks to Dave Glover and his crew, 97.1 FM, Dierbergs, and Emmis Communications for helping our mission!
